In Kurgan, on Galkinsky crossing, a car crashed into a pole. According to the Kurgan branch of the State Traffic Inspectorate (GAI), the accident occurred at night on 5 February.
At 01:25, a Lada Priora was traveling from Avtozavodskaya Street towards Chekhov Bridge. The 20-year-old driver lost control and hit an electric pole. In the crash, the driver and his 18-year-old passenger sustained injuries of varying severity. They were given medical assistance. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
Earlier, the GAI included the intersection of Chekhov Overpass and Mostostroiteley Street in the list of the most dangerous intersections in Kurgan. Cameras have been installed there to record traffic violations.
