Busy Intersection Partially Closed Near Belinsky Street in Nizhny Novgorod

Traffic has been partially restricted at the intersection of Poltavskaya and Genkina streets in Nizhny Novgorod. This was reported by the city administration.

The restrictions are in effect from January 21 until 09:00 on January 22. According to the map, traffic on the section is maintained, but a small part of the road is blocked. This is related to work on utility networks.

The closure is already in effect, and a substantial traffic jam has formed in the area. Passage is difficult both on Poltavskaya Street and on adjacent sections. The worst situation, however, is on Genkina Street—the street is almost completely gridlocked.
Earlier we wrote that Nizhny Novgorod residents are complaining about the repair of the overpass near the Myzinsky Bridge. Due to work on the crossing, severe traffic jams form during rush hour, though currently no repair is being carried out at all, yet the road remains closed. Previously, the Department of Municipal Infrastructure and Development (GUMMiD) promised to finish the repairs in 2026; now it is reported that the work is planned for completion in September.
