Buses race and destroy bus stop in Rostov

In the morning on Budennovsky Avenue in Rostov-on-Don, a collision of two buses occurred, resulting in a bus stop pavilion being demolished. The incident was commented on by the press service of the city administration.

According to preliminary information, bus route No. 27, traveling from the center to the Suvorovsky microdistrict, collided with bus No. 83, after which it destroyed the stop. Witnesses claim that the drivers were racing.

«There were no passenger injuries as a result of the accident. The buses sustained mechanical damage, and the bus stop pavilion was destroyed. An inspection is being carried out and the circumstances of the incident are being established,» the press service of the administration reported.

The city authorities promised to replace the destroyed bus stop pavilion in the near future. The Rostov Region traffic police (GAI) has not yet provided any comments.
