Avtodor has denied information about increased tolls on the M-12 Moscow–Kazan highway. Earlier, Telegram channels spread news about a price hike.

«This year, the state company Avtodor has not yet indexed tolls on paid federal highways,» the company said in its official Telegram channel.

The company was responding to numerous publications on Telegram channels claiming that travel has become more expensive, specifically on the Moscow–Kazan route, up to 5,349 rubles (about $59 at current rates).

Recall that toll costs may increase in 2026 due to rising prices for goods and services, as well as maintenance of transport facilities. How much exactly tariffs will be raised is still unknown—possible parameters are currently being discussed within the company.
