Avtodor Considers Raising Tolls on M-12 and Eastern Exit

The company Avtodor may increase tariffs on its toll roads, according to the words of the chairman of the board Vyacheslav Petushenko. The head explained such measures by the general rise in prices for goods and services, as well as the fact that maintenance of transport facilities has become more expensive.

«Inflation is present, costs are rising for everyone, including road maintenance. Therefore, of course, we are considering [this issue] <…> The decision must be weighed very carefully: so that neither the consumer feels it, nor the road loses in its operational characteristics,» Petushenko is quoted by Interfax.

However, how much exactly tariffs will be raised, the chairman of the board of Avtodor did not specify. Possible parameters are currently being discussed within the company.

Recall that in Bashkortostan, Avtodor«s toll roads include the Eastern Exit and a section of the federal highway M-12. On the latter, prices according to the latest adjustments vary from 325 to 846 rubles (approximately $3 to $8 at current rates) depending on the category of the vehicle.
