Arzamas-Nizhny Novgorod train late an hour five days
A morning commuter train arrives in Nizhny Novgorod with a delay of more than an hour for five days.
Train No. 6703/6704, running from Arzamas-2 station to Moskovsky Station in Nizhny Novgorod, has been regularly arriving late recently. According to the schedule, departure at 4:39 a.m. should ensure arrival at 7:27 a.m., but the timetable is not being adhered to.
Passengers point to systematic delays lasting an hour or more. «For five days in a row, it has been arriving in Nizhny Novgorod an hour or more late. And people are rushing to work by 8-9 a.m.,» one passenger said.
Furthermore, there are complaints about insufficient snow removal on passenger platforms. At the 302nd and 310th kilometers of the track, according to reports, knee-deep snowdrifts have formed.
An official request has been sent to the Gorky Railway to clarify the situation. It should be recalled that earlier this week, a freight train derailment on the Oriche-Shalegovo section in Kirov Oblast caused widespread train delays in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast.
