A road traffic accident at the intersection of Kuybyshev and Belinsky streets in Yekaterinburg led to a collision between a tram and a red passenger car. Passage through this area has become virtually impossible.

‘I was on the tram behind number 14. They told everyone to leave the cabin, saying we«d be here for a long time. While I waited for a taxi, all the people got out of the trams. Apparently, it really is for a long time,’ an eyewitness told E1.RU.

The incident has provoked the formation of a traffic jam on Belinsky Street and the stoppage of tram traffic. Motorists are forced to find detours, and public transport passengers are switching to taxis or other routes.
According to the traffic police (GIBDD), there are no casualties or injuries in the accident. Police officers are helping the accident participants to process the necessary documents.
