22 million rubles paid to bridge workers

Employees of the company StroyTrust, which is carrying out major repairs of the bridge named after the 60th anniversary of the Komsomol near the TV Center, have received more than 22 million rubles in back wages. This was reported by the Omsk Regional Prosecutor«s Office»s Telegram channel.

LLC StroyTrust has been operating in Omsk since 2019. The director and founder of the company is Gevorg Akopyan. According to the Kontur Focus service, based on the results of 2025, the organization«s revenue was 0 rubles, and net profit was 6,000 rubles ($60 at current rates).

During an inspection, it was found that throughout 2026, the enterprise had been late in settling payments with employees.

«In order to protect the rights of citizens, the prosecutor»s office issued a submission to the head of the enterprise. At the initiative of the supervisory authority, he, as well as the construction organization he heads, were repeatedly brought to administrative responsibility under parts 6-7 of Article 5.27 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (non-payment or incomplete payment of wages and other payments within the established period),« the agency said.

The debt to more than 400 workers was fully repaid. The total amount of payments exceeded 22 million rubles ($220,000 at current rates). Additionally, the affected workers were awarded compensation for delayed wages — over 1 million rubles ($10,000 at current rates).

Throughout 2026, builders of the bridge near the TV Center spoke about wage delays and complained that they were actually going to the site «just for show,» and that work was stalling due to a lack of materials. Meanwhile, the Omsk city administration assured that the repairs would be completed on time. The owner of LLC StroyTrust, in a comment to NGS55.RU, even denied information about payment delays.
