10 km traffic jam near Nizhny, city traffic at 9/10
Roads leading to Nizhny Novgorod and within the city are gridlocked with traffic.
A major traffic jam has formed near Nizhny Novgorod due to the aftermath of snowfall and roadworks. The congestion near Vetchak in the Kstovsky District stretches for 10 km, and in the city itself the traffic score is already 9 out of 10. The road situation is reflected on Yandex Maps.

Due to the traffic jam, it is now difficult to approach Kstov. The jam stretches from the village of Zaprudnoye to Magistralnaya Street in the city. In addition to roadworks, a traffic accident has also occurred on this section.
Road conditions are difficult throughout Nizhny Novgorod.
However, in Nizhny Novgorod the situation is no better, with difficulties both in the center and in the Zarechnaya district. Travel is particularly hard on Vaneyeva, Varvarskaya, Zvezdinka, Alekseevskaya, Timiryazeva, Barminskaya, Dolzhanskaya, and Sovetskaya streets. It is also better to avoid Gagarin Avenue and the Myzinsky Bridge if possible. The situation there is complicated by a traffic accident and nearby roadworks.
