Some areas of Kuzbass (Kemerovo Oblast) will continue to be hit by heavy precipitation, but residents of the regional capital will find it hard to boast about thunderstorms rather than heat in the near future. The editorial staff of NGS42.RU looked at the forecast from the Kemerovo Hydrometeorological Center for Wednesday, July 22.

Across the region, daytime temperatures are expected to range from +22 to +27°C (72–81°F), with mostly variable cloudiness, rain, and thunderstorms, especially at night and in the morning. At night, the thermometer will hold at +13…+18°C (55–64°F), and in some places even down to +7°C (45°F).

There is a high risk of heavy rain and hail, as well as morning fog. Strong winds up to 16 m/s (36 mph) are expected, with gusts possibly reaching 22 m/s (49 mph) in some areas.

In the regional capital (Kemerovo), the night temperature will be +13…+15°C (55–59°F) without precipitation. During the day, expect temperatures from +24 to +26°C (75–79°F). There may be light showers during the daytime, but they will soon end. Strong winds are not expected — up to 3 m/s (7 mph), occasionally 8 m/s (18 mph).

Residents of Novokuznetsk should not expect sunshine, as the day will be rainy and cloudy. Daytime temperatures will not exceed 24°C (75°F), and nighttime temperatures can drop to +12°C (54°F).

Earlier, NGS42.RU reported why vipers have become so active in the region and started attacking people (yes, it«s all because of the weather).
