During the week, warm and unstable weather is expected in Zabaykalsky Krai, with temperatures rising to 25–30°C (77–86°F) by the end of the week, reported on July 20 by Zabgidromet (Zabaykalsky Hydrometeorological Center).
On July 21, light rain will pass over the western half of the region; on July 22, brief rain with thunderstorms, and heavy rain in places over the eastern half. From July 23 to 27, brief precipitation will persist only in isolated areas. In the morning, fog is possible when skies clear.
Nighttime air temperatures will be 12–17°C (54–63°F), and 7–12°C (45–54°F) in places in the western areas at the start of the week. Daytime temperatures will rise from 22–27°C (72–81°F) at the beginning of the week to 25–30°C (77–86°F) by the end. Wind will be northwesterly and westerly, at 3–8 m/s at night and 7–12 m/s during the day.
