On July 21–22, the Kola Peninsula will be under the influence of a high-pressure area: no significant precipitation is expected, and daytime temperatures will warm to +14…+20°C (57–68°F). This was reported by the Murmansk UGMS (Hydrometeorological Center).
Today, July 21, the Arctic region has variable cloudiness. In the west, local light rain is possible. Wind is southern, southeasterly moderate. Temperature — +14…+19°C (57–66°F), in Murmansk — +16…+18°C (61–64°F).
Additionally, on July 21–23, a fifth regional fire hazard class is expected in the west and central part of Kola District, in the south of Pechenga District, and in the Murmansk area.
Recall, tourists from Yekaterinburg visited the Murmansk region and were surprised by the unexpectedly hot weather for the north.
