The Arctic air mass that shifted to the east of the region, combined with a clear sky, led to a predictable result. Lovozero and Krasnoshchelye were also a step away from below-zero air temperatures, which does not rule out ground frost,” reported the group «Weather in Murmansk».
Overall, in the region, except for the northwest and Monchegorsk, the night was cooler than the previous one — lows ranged from +1°C to +4°C (33.8°F to 39.2°F), the community specified.
Recall that on July 21–22, the Kola Peninsula will be under the influence of a high-pressure system.
