Hot Sunny Weather Replaces Prolonged Rains in Chelyabinsk

Have you already rejoiced at the weather forecast?
In the Southern Urals, prolonged rains that led to flooding of residential buildings are ending. They will be replaced by hot and sunny weather, the Chelyabinsk Hydrometeorological Center reported on Monday, 20 July.
«At the beginning of the week, the Southern Urals will still be under the influence of a departing cyclone,» meteorologists said. «In its wake, brief rains (0.3–14 mm) and stronger winds are expected in places — with isolated gusts up to 19 m/s. And from 23 July, a ridge of an anticyclone will establish over the region — pressure will rise, cloud cover will dissipate, the air will warm intensively, and hot weather will set in, up to 86°F (30°C) and above. The wind will calm down.»
The change in weather, however, will not lead to total drought.
«Due to increased humidity in the region, fog is possible at night and in the morning, and localized brief showers during the daytime,» meteorologists said.
Thus, on Monday night into Tuesday, Chelyabinsk is forecast to see 61–64°F (16–18°C), and on Tuesday daytime 77–81°F (25–27°C). In the region, overnight temperatures will be 57–66°F (14–19°C), dropping to 50°F (10°C) in clear spells; daytime temperatures 75–84°F (24–29°C).
On Wednesday night, Chelyabinsk is expected to see 61–64°F (16–18°C), and daytime 79–82°F (26–28°C). In the region, overnight 55–64°F (13–18°C), daytime 77–86°F (25–30°C).
