EMERCOM warns Omsk of hurricane winds, rain, hail
In Omsk Oblast, the bad weather will persist. Regional EMERCOM (Ministry of Emergency Situations) again warns residents of danger. Tomorrow, 21 July, heavy rain, strong winds with gusts up to 25 meters per second, large hail, and thunderstorms are expected.
Warning messages about the worsening weather were also sent to Omsk residents« phones.
Residents are asked to exercise caution: monitor weather conditions, do not leave cars under trees or billboards, unplug electrical appliances during thunderstorms, and do not stay outside during hail.
A heavy rain passed in Omsk on 19 July. It was accompanied by thunder and wind. Due to lightning that struck a substation on the Left Bank, an entire neighborhood was left without electricity.
