Sasovo Cadets Get 9 Million Ruble Uniforms

The cadets from the flight school will be wearing their new uniforms.
An electronic auction for the supply of uniforms for cadets at the Sasovo Flight School is being held on the government procurement website. Dozens of items of men«s and women»s clothing and headgear are planned to be purchased.
According to the Kontur.Zakupki resource, the initial and maximum contract price is 9,240,049.75 rubles ($102,700 at current rates). The bidding is to conclude tomorrow, February 4. The supplier must fulfill the contract within 60 days after signing.
Among the items being purchased are 80 peaked caps at 2,950 rubles each, 105 pilotkas (side caps) at 983 rubles, and 105 demi-season jackets at 9,000 rubles apiece. The most expensive items in the procurement are winter men«s jackets — 17,800 rubles per unit, single-breasted suits — 17,200 rubles each, and winter coats made of textile materials — 17,500 rubles. The largest quantities are for gloves, scarves, and pilotkas — 105 pieces each.
The uniforms have strict requirements, which are detailed in the procurement documents. For example, the pilotka must consist of two side parts, two flaps sewn to the side parts, and a crown made of two pieces. A blue piping is laid along the edge of the crown and the upper edge of the cap sides. The crown, walls, and sides are made of dark blue wool fabric.
The jacket must have a semi-fitted silhouette, with a center front closure with three buttonholes and three buttons, a notched collar and lapels, and a sewn-in lining. Trousers are straight silhouette with creases, lined. The trousers have a fly front fastening in the center seam with a zipper and attached half-belts that fasten with one buttonhole and one button, and one metal hook and eye.
The quality of the goods supplied under the contract must comply with established state standards, technical regulations, and contract requirements.
