Regardless of the trend toward naturalness, the cult of youth remains strong. Some people settle for light makeup, while others take more drastic measures and go under the surgeon’s knife. Among those who seem to have conquered aging once and for all, news anchor Ekaterina Andreeva stands out. Over the years on television, she has hardly changed, preserving her beauty through her own unique methods.

The question of age is a sore subject for Ekaterina. For a long time, rumors circulated online that she was born in 1961, which would make her 65 in 2026. Andreeva herself insists this is a mistake and that she was born in 1965. But even showing her passport hasn’t convinced everyone, and conspiracy theories persist that she is trying to shave off a few years.

This is one of the easiest poses Ekaterina can hold in the air.

However, why would Ekaterina downplay her age when she doesn’t look it anyway? As she admits, staying young is not as simple as it might seem. She has never had plastic surgery or taken special drugs promising miraculous effects. Instead, she works diligently every day.

Her morning starts early, around 6 a.m. No coffee or news feed—just a long series of rituals. First, a glass of water, though that hardly surprises anyone, as half of Russian and foreign celebrities start their day that way. Then Ekaterina prepares her brain for work.

— I start my day by tapping my body with a special stick; it helps to speed up blood circulation and activates bone marrow function, — the anchor shared.

After that, Ekaterina works out. She is very active in life, exercising nine times a week, plus walking and swimming. Mornings are for strength training or boxing, while evenings are reserved for relaxing activities like yoga.

— When you exercise a lot, you start generating energy like a power plant, because happiness hormones are produced, giving you a boost for the whole day, — Ekaterina told journalists from the show “You Won’t Believe It!”.

When it comes to food, Ekaterina tries not to be too strict with herself. If she craves a chocolate bar, she eats it without guilt. Sweets and snacks are exceptions rather than the rule. She eats natural products whose origins she is certain of, including farm chickens, quail eggs, grains, and fish.

— The healthier the food, the cheaper it is. For example, buckwheat, apples, oatmeal, yogurt, nuts, honey, eggs, and fish twice a week at 200 grams each—that’s my normal diet, — Ekaterina told our colleagues at Woman.ru.

For cosmetic procedures, Ekaterina does plasmolifting and acupuncture. She also regularly wipes her face with an ice cube, applies silver spray masks, and visits the banya and cryosauna.

The anchor is not averse to experiments and happily tries new anti-aging methods recommended during her travels.

— To look good and be energetic, they gave me blood in Tyumen. It’s just shellfish blood. They promise it will be really cool. It tastes like seawater that you can drink, — Ekaterina shared.

Despite such an intense regimen, much of its effectiveness is lost without the right mindset. According to Ekaterina, to look young, you need to program yourself correctly.

— No constant staring at yourself in the mirror. Because when your eye notices changes, wrinkles, people start obsessing over them… I look in the mirror just long enough to quickly apply makeup—about 5 minutes, — Ekaterina said in an interview with Nadezhda Strelets.

Most importantly, in Ekaterina’s view, is positive thinking. Envy, anger, hatred toward others, and fixation on prejudices lead to nothing good.

— Forget the word “age.” Stop counting the years; it’s very important. People are programmed to age by other people and society’s stereotypes, — the anchor insists.
