Burns and Poor-Quality Lips: Tyumen Residents Complain
Some of the affected Tyumen residents filed lawsuits against cosmetology clinics.
Residents of the Tyumen region often resort to cosmetology procedures to improve their appearance, but they do not always receive quality results. Last year, several residents filed complaints with the local Rospotrebnadzor office, the agency reported.
«The office received 9 complaints regarding cosmetology and cosmetic services. Of these, three were related to refusal to refund money for unused procedures, and six complaints were due to identified flaws in the services provided,» Rospotrebnadzor officials said.
In the complaints, citizens cited the following incidents:
- sustaining a burn from treatment of a mole on the shin;
- unsatisfactory result from a lip augmentation procedure;
- poor-quality implant installation;
- poor-quality acne treatment for the consumer«s minor daughter.
«In the remaining cases, consumer complaints were reviewed within the scope of available authority. The complainants were provided with sample lawsuits to file in court,» the agency concluded.
