Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod Wins Twice in Far East

Torpedo from Nizhny Novgorod secured its second consecutive road win. On February 4, the team defeated Khabarovsk Amur with a score of 2:1.
The second period featured a goal by Vasily Atanasov, who sent the puck into the opponent«s net. In the third period, Igor Geraskin doubled the lead for Nizhny Novgorod.
This win added to the result of the game on February 2, when Torpedo snatched a 3:2 victory over Vladivostok Admiral. Thus, the team leaves the Far East having collected all possible points in this series.
I congratulate the team and the fans on the win, it was very tough for us today. Besides the small mistakes we made that allowed the opponent to get back into the game at the end, we also had moments in the first half that we were very unhappy with. The game was completely even; both teams could have taken the initiative. It«s good that we managed to score.
