The Tolyatti hockey club Lada announced a staffing boost in its top management. From July 20, 2026, Ivan Telegin has taken the position of deputy sports director of the team.

Ivan Telegin is a Honored Master of Sports of Russia, Olympic champion in 2018 as part of the Russian national team, three-time bronze medalist at World Championships, and winner of the Gagarin Cup with CSKA. He was married to Pelageya from 2016, and in 2017 the couple had a daughter, Taisiya. The divorce was initiated by the singer in May 2020 and finalized by December.

In March 2025, Telegin held the position of sports director of the sled hockey team Yugra from Khanty-Mansiysk.

The appointment of Ivan Telegin continued a series of personnel changes at the Tolyatti sports club. Before the start of the 2026/2027 season, the team engaged in a complete upgrade of the coaching staff and players. The club also reported that it had resolved financial problems by settling salary debts to athletes and employees.
