On February 14th, a major ski race — Russia«s Ski Track — will be held in Tomsk. This article covers who can participate and how to register.
In Tomsk, as across the country, the ski race will take place on Saturday, February 14th. This year marks its 44th edition.
Anyone can participate in the event. Organizers clarify that there are no age restrictions.
Skiers can join a mass start without timekeeping for 1 and 3 kilometers, as well as timed races over distances of 5 and 10 kilometers.
In Tomsk, starts will be held simultaneously at four locations: the «Politechnik» stadium (19th Guards Division Street, 20) and the ski bases: «Metelitsa» (Korolev Street, 13), «Sosnovy Bor» (Kutuzov Street, 1B), and «Kedr» (Vysotsky Street, 7, Building 2).
At the stadium, starts will be timed, while at the ski bases, they will not be timed.
To participate in the race, you need to submit an online application on Gosuslugi. A registration confirmation will be sent within five business days.
