The yellow-and-blue«s opponent was the reigning champion of Armenia. Timur Suleymanov opened the scoring in the 20th minute. The first half ended 1-0.
In the 70th minute, Khoren Bayramyan doubled the Rostovites« lead. Nine minutes later, Anton Shamonin set the final score at 3-0.
