— How do you assess the new football rules that have been in effect since the start of the World Cup?
— I like how the referees and VAR react to game episodes at the World Cup.
— How do you feel about the fact that teams will now hardly be able to waste time?
— That«s right. There will be less deliberate time-wasting, that»s positive. However, when they do it, the referees still add time. I think these are correct changes. Everything should be for the good of football, — he said in an interview with Soviet Sport.
