FC Rostov coach Viktor Onopko commented on the new rules introduced at the World Cup.
«I like how the referees and VAR react to game episodes at the World Cup,» Onopko noted in an interview with Sovetsky Sport. He also commented on measures to combat time-wasting: «This is correct. Now they will deliberately waste less time, that«s positive. Another thing is that when they do it, the referees still add time. I think these are the right changes. Everything should be for the benefit of football.»
The specialist has been working at Rostov since the spring of 2022.
