Honoring Yaroslavl Lokomotiv: Date and Venue

It has been announced when Yaroslavl«s Lokomotiv hockey players will be honored. In 2026, the celebration is planned for 2 August, on Railway Worker»s Day.

The ceremony will be organized for two teams at once — Lokomotiv and Loko. The hockey players in the 2025/2026 season won both the Gagarin Cup and the Kharlamov Cup, triumphantly elevating Yaroslavl to the status of a champion city.

Yaroslavl«s Lokomotiv won the Gagarin Cup on 21 May. The team has taken the main prize in the playoff tournament for the second year in a row. Following them, the young hockey players of Loko won the main prize of their league — the Kharlamov Cup.

The venue for the event will be Arena 2000. The ceremony will begin at 18:00. Doors will open one and a half hours before the start.

Tickets are on sale at the UKRK Arena 2000 box office and online on the portal from 22 July.

The organizers promised a stage show, a concert program, and the awarding of the season«s champions.

«On the first day of sales, only holders of 2025–2026 season tickets will be able to purchase tickets on a priority basis. Attention! Due to the concert seating arrangement, purchasing a ticket for a seat corresponding to the season ticket is not guaranteed,» the club warned fans.

Also on 2 August, it will become known which city location will be renamed in honor of Lokomotiv.

The «Parade of Champions» in 2026 in Yaroslavl took place immediately after the KHL playoff victory and the players« return home.
