HC Lokomotiv Extends Contract with Goaltender Daniil Isaev
Daniil Isaev, a Yaroslavl native and two-time KHL best goaltender, signed a two-year contract extension with HC Lokomotiv through May 31, 2028.

Yaroslavl«s HC Lokomotiv has extended its contract with goaltender Daniil Isaev. The agreement is valid until May 31, 2028.
«The goaltender signed a new two-year agreement with the Yaroslavl club. This season is his eighth with his hometown team. We are glad we are together,» HC Lokomotiv said.
Recall that Daniil Isaev has been named the best goaltender in the KHL for the past two consecutive years.
He was born in Yaroslavl on January 7, 2000. He played in the Lokomotiv system since childhood. At age 16, he took to the ice for Loko-Yunior, and a year later began playing for the main youth team, Loko. His debut for Lokomotiv«s main squad came on October 2, 2018.
In total for Lokomotiv, Daniil has played 249 matches, winning 150 of them, including 32 shutouts. His current save percentage is 92.8.
According to Sport Express, Daniil Isaev«s salary in the 2024/2025 season was 35 million rubles (approximately $385,000 at current rates), which is 8 million rubles more than the previous season.
The previous contract of the Yaroslavl goaltender was valid until May 31, 2026.
