Do4a Dies at 37 After Third Heart Attack
Vadim Ivanov began his journey in a simple gym and later became a hugely successful fitness blogger.
Famous fitness blogger and bodybuilder Vadim Ivanov, known as Do4a, died at the age of 37. This was reported on his social media pages. A native of Berdsk, he managed to build a successful business and develop channels with tens of millions of views.
Vadim Ivanov had serious heart problems. In June 2025, he reported on social media that he had suffered a third heart attack and contracted pneumonia.
«The first two happened nine years ago three months apart, one was open, the other gradual with vessel closure. Since then, I led an ideal lifestyle, but somehow it happened that over 9 months, stenosis formed on a stent from scratch, even though all indicators were ideal,» the blogger wrote then.
He noted that genetics is a lottery. And that he wanted to postpone a heart transplant as long as possible until technology reaches its peak. A post appeared on the blog on July 20 that Vadim had died.
«It»s no secret that the past year has been difficult for Vadim. He fought, tried to restore his health and regain strength. But, unfortunately, fate decided otherwise,« the post says.
Vadim Ivanov was born in Berdsk near Novosibirsk. He studied to become a nuclear physicist at Novosibirsk State Technical University (NSTU) but was expelled. As he himself admitted to colleagues from Fontanka, he started playing sports in school because of a girl he wanted to impress. For his birthday, he was given a barbell with weights. The guy went to work as a gym instructor while studying.
In the early 2010s, Vadim, under a nickname from a computer game, started his own Internet blog Do4a.com. There he described his lifestyle and talked about workouts. According to the blogger, at the peak of popularity, the number of readers of his resource reached 1.1 million people.
In 2014, Vadim moved to St. Petersburg and founded his first business project there — a chain of sports nutrition stores called «Docha Market». Do4a shared the business with his partner, athlete Alexander Storoshchuk, but later left the joint venture. In 2018, Storoshchuk consolidated 100% of the company «Franchising Docha». Together with his wife, he was involved in the clothing brand Bona Fide. Vadim«s wife is Anna Ivanova, who also appeared in his blog and was involved in the business. The couple has a growing son.
Farewell to the blogger will take place on July 22 in St. Petersburg.
