Ufa residents took part in the «Promise Run» on the first morning of the New Year. The idea is to write down a promise to fulfill during the year and run a symbolic 2026 meters. A UFA1.RU photographer visited the run in Chernikovka — here«s how it went.

Across Ufa, there were 8 starting points — we visited the park of Neftekhimikov. In Bashkortostan, the run was held in Priyutovo, Sibay, Beloretsk, and Birsk. The latter, by the way, used to host regular runs, but then the event lost its sponsor. But let«s return to Ufa.

Residents make various promises: here a woman says she wants to climb the 7 peaks of the Southern Urals. An ambitious goal!

We wish success to the woman aiming to climb the seven peaks of the Southern Urals this year.

This cheerful guy wants to buy a new apartment. Given the market situation? We can only wish him luck. Recently, UFA1.RU, by the way, discussed with an expert in real estate what to expect in 2026.

We would not make predictions, but buying an apartment in the current market requires luck and planning.

And a fellow in a zebra costume found another extreme: get a driver«s license, fix his teeth… both are not cheap nowadays. But we also hope he succeeds.

The zebra costume adds a playful touch to the run, perhaps nodding to the Year of the Horse.
