Bob Hartley lauds Lokomotiv for not letting Sochi seize initiative

Bob Hartley praised Lokomotiv for their win against Sochi on February 1. The railwaymen did not concede a single goal, winning 3-0. The game took place on home ice at Arena 2000.
‘A good game – a good win. In the first period, we created many scoring chances; in the second, Ilya Nikolayev scored an important goal to open the scoring. The guys made the right decisions and didn«t let the opponent seize the initiative,’ Bob Hartley congratulated the team.
The head coach also singled out Artur Kayumov, calling him a professional player you can rely on. Hartley noted that Kayumov is one of those who wants to improve, he«s easy to coach, so the guy»s talent is backed by hard work.
Opposing coach Dmitry Mikhailov called Lokomotiv a systematic and powerful team that is difficult to play against.
