Particles of the relics of Saint Spyridon of Trimythous have been brought to the Zavodskoy district of Saratov, according to the Saratov eparchy.
The saint«s relics arrived in Saratov on 1 February at the Church of St. Tikhon of Zadonsk, located in the Zavodskoy district at Ogorodnaya Street, 50a. The reception of the relics was accompanied by a Divine Liturgy.
Daily at 4:00 PM, prayers with an akathist—a type of church hymn—to Saint Spyridon are held before the reliquary. The relics are available for veneration daily from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. They will remain at the church until 15 February inclusive.
