Well-known psychic Oleg Sheps has revealed the story of how he met his beloved — Polina Yeremenko from Tyumen (Tyumen Oblast, Russia). It turned out that their relationship began with a silly joke during the filming of a popular esoteric television show. A romance developed between them, and a couple of years later the young woman heard a marriage proposal.

“On the project ‘Psychics. Rematch’ I was on the jury, and Polina worked there as a photographer. It all started with my cringe-worthy jokes. I noticed her, and I just couldn’t take my eyes off her. I even got a little nervous and said: ‘Wait, don’t tell me who you are. I’ll say it myself. You’re the photographer.’ And she had a camera in her hands. She burst out laughing, and off it went,” Oleg Sheps said on the podcast ‘Da-da, net-net’ (‘Yes-yes, no-no’) hosted by Natasha Gasankhanova.
There, the star of ‘The Battle of Psychics’ also admitted that he gave his beloved a ring when he felt it was time for them to become husband and wife. And when the wedding preparation period began, they initially did not want to economize, but later decided they did not need a lavish celebration.
In the end, the wedding was intimate — just 30 people. The guests were close friends and relatives.
“We were tired of noise. We wanted to create exactly that kind of cozy, home-like setting and atmosphere. And these days, in principle, weddings are very expensive. We looked at various options. We had ones that were overpriced, and we even approached one of the largest agencies in Moscow, and they quoted us a serious sum. What we realized was that, in principle, we didn’t need it. We wanted to gather everyone closest to us, our family, and have a great time on our special day,” Oleg Sheps shares.
The psychic said that he and Polina handled the organization themselves, so on the big day they were quite nervous: the couple feared there would be problems with the seating arrangement or that guests would be late. But the lovers managed to cope with the anxiety quickly, so the celebration went smoothly. Despite his magical status, Oleg Sheps performed no rituals on the eve of the ceremony.
