Blogger Aiza and Her Fiancé from Yugra Talk About Life in Bali

Blogger Aiza and her fiancé from Yugra, Stepan, now live permanently on the island of Bali. The couple have been together for over a year. They recently gave a joint interview to a local radio station, discussing their domestic life and relationship.

According to Stepan, he wakes up early—between 5:30 and 6:00. He writes his thoughts in a journal, then wakes up, feeds, and sends Aiza«s sons to school. The blogger herself gets up around 10 a.m.

«She gets up. At first I leave her alone. Then, if she doesn»t mind, I appear, bringing cocoa and a rose,« Stepan said. »We like spending time together. I love to cook, and when I do, it«s important for me that she sits nearby somewhere. I always call her over.»

All family members also dedicate time to learning the local language; the children and Stepan have other tutors. Aiza says they don«t fixate on financial matters. At first, it was unusual for the blogger, for instance, when her boyfriend paid the shared bill at a restaurant. Stepan says he was raised that way and doesn»t understand how it could be any different. Aiza also admitted that her advertising income has recently decreased significantly.

Despite a 10-year age gap, the couple«s relationship is a complete idyll. However, Aiza admitted that just a few years ago, she would not have started a relationship with a man like him.

«A few years ago, I wouldn»t have liked Stepa. I was insecure, unpredictable, and erratic. And Stepa is predictable, sensible, and boring. He«s normal. And I didn»t know guys like that. I wanted a harder rollercoaster; I was attracted to traumatized narcissists, or those who needed straight-up rescuing,« Aiza shared. »With Stepa, I didn«t know how to communicate at first. You don»t have to rescue him. You don«t have to cry. You don»t have to defend yourself.«

Stepan also spoke warmly about his beloved.

«She»s very caring, like a little girl. Online she presents herself as strong, but at home she is small, tender, someone you want to care for. And in return she gives a lot of love, too. And I«m not just talking about myself, but about everyone around her,» Stepan emphasized.
