Yakutia District Relocates Over 1,000, Builds Homes for 300

In Borogontsy village, Ust-Aldan district (Yakutia), a new house is being built for resettlers from dilapidated housing, where over 1,000 people have already been relocated and apartments are being prepared for 300 more residents. The construction was shown to Aisen Nikolaev, the press service of the republic«s government reported.
The building has 58 apartments with a total area of 3,000 square meters. The frame of the fourth floor has already been erected, with 31 workers on site. After completion, the living spaces will be transferred to municipal ownership. The deadline for handing over the apartments under state contracts is set no later than December 1, 2027.
Since the start of the republican targeted program «Resettlement of Citizens from Dilapidated Housing Stock for 2025–2028» in the Ust-Aldan district, 1,036 residents have improved their living conditions. In 2026, another 316 people are planned to be relocated.
In Yakutia as a whole, 8,660 residents from 1,223 apartment buildings will be relocated by 2028. From 2019 to 2025, over 54,000 people have already been resettled in Yakutia.
