In Tyumen, the auction for the historic building at 15 Sakko Street did not take place. The lot was put up for a symbolic price of 1 ruble (about $0.01 at current rates).
According to the documentation: «The non-residential building is a cultural heritage site of regional significance, the »Residential House from the Estate Composition«.» The house has two floors with a total area of 293.9 square meters. The winner was required to undertake restoration obligations. Design work must be completed within two years of purchase, and renovation work within five years after approval of the documentation with the regional committee. The starting price was 1 ruble ($0.01).
Three applicants submitted bids: two individual entrepreneurs and one company. However, all were denied participation due to failure to provide a complete set of documents.
Earlier it was reported that two more historic buildings in the Tyumen Region were put up for sale for 1 ruble each.
