The Kirovsky District Prosecutor«s Office has demanded the evacuation of residents from a dilapidated apartment building at 105 Yuzhnaya Street. This information was published on the department»s official Telegram channel.

The building was deemed unfit for habitation back in April 2024, and the evacuation deadline is set for the end of 2031.

«Moreover, the technical condition of the building, the structures of the external walls, and the foundation are in a state of disrepair and pose a threat of sudden collapse, endangering the lives and health of the citizens living there,» the prosecutor«s office said.

The supervisory authority has filed a lawsuit to compel local self-government bodies to evacuate the residents of the dilapidated building.

[Updated at 11:30] NGS55.RU was told by the prosecutor«s office that there are 16 apartments in the building, 2 of which are municipal. A total of 32 people live in the building.

Earlier, NGS55.RU reported that the roof of an apartment building collapsed on the outskirts of Omsk, but residents will not be evacuated.
