Over 10,000 Apartments Commissioned in Omsk Region
Many residents in Omsk received keys to new apartments towards the end of the past year.
Last year, more than 10,000 apartments were commissioned in the Omsk region. Their total area amounted to almost 920,000 square meters. Omskstat reported that construction volume grew by almost 6% compared to 2024.
«Over 60% of the living space was built by private individuals. A total of 4,004 individual houses with an area of 607,000 square meters were commissioned (+4.3% compared to 2024). Developer organizations handed over 114 buildings, 28 of which were multi-story. The total area of apartments exceeded 312,000 square meters (+9% compared to 2024).»
The vast majority of new buildings (98.5%) are 1–2 story houses. The region also gained 24 high-rise buildings of 9 stories or more, including two 21-story buildings. At the end of last year, Omsk residents received almost two thousand keys to new apartments in 10 new buildings in the city«s Kirovsky, Sovetsky, and Tsentralny districts.
«In 2026, construction will continue in the »Zelenaya Reka« (Green River), »Kvartaly Draverta« (Dravert Quarters), »Snegiri« (Bullfinches), »Kuzminki,« and »Novy Amur« (New Amur) neighborhoods.»
It was reported yesterday that electric homes will appear in Omsk.
