Historic Library Building for Sale in Biysk

In Biysk, a new chapter begins for an old building — the former city library, built in 1938, is up for sale as part of the privatization of state property. All interested in purchasing this property can participate in an auction, information about which is posted on the electronic trading platform RTS-Tender.

According to official documentation, the buyer will become the owner not only of the library building itself, covering an area of 274 square meters, but also of an adjacent garage. Additionally, the lot includes two land plots with a total area of about a thousand square meters. The property is located at Krasnooktyabrskaya Street, building 146.

The starting price for this historical complex is approximately 6.3 million rubles (about $63,000 at current rates). Applications from potential buyers will be accepted until February 12. The auction itself, where the new owner will be determined, is scheduled for February 18.
