In Tobolsk, construction has begun on a four-star hotel near the Kremlin. The facility was planned for completion in summer 2026, but the timeline has shifted. Work is already underway at the site.
According to the original plan, the hotel was to be completed by mid-2026, but construction is still ongoing.

“We are currently building in Tobolsk together with SIBUR. I think in a year or a year and a half we will open the hotel. It will be the largest in Tobolsk,” said Alexander Biba, president of Cosmos Hotel Group, in the spring.
The hotel’s room inventory is consistent with a four-star rating.

Cosmos Hotel Group manages 52 hotels in 32 cities, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Surgut, Kogalym, and Salekhard.
According to the sign, work spanned January 9, 2024, to June 30, 2026, but the hotel is not finished.

The foundation pit has been backfilled and concrete structures installed. By the end of the year, the hotel is planned to be connected to electricity and gas supply systems.
The hotel will have 120 rooms. It will include a wellness center, SPA, and fitness area.
The abandoned factory of the former head of the Antipinsky Refinery has changed owners. Earlier, there were plans to start mushroom production there, but those plans changed.
In Tyumen, the famous house with a palm tree is being leased. It was previously slated for demolition, but the building was preserved.
