Svetlana Bolotnikova is leaving the post of Minister of Education of Udmurtia after 8 years of work. This was reported by the press service of the head and government of the republic.
Svetlana Bolotnikova held the position of Minister of Education of Udmurtia since 2017. During this time, under her leadership, 58 kindergartens and 19 schools were built, five digital education centers «IT-Cube» were opened, three school «Kvantoriums», a mobile technopark, 164 «Growth Point» centers, and over 200 workshops.
For her activities, Svetlana Bolotnikova received the following awards: the badge «For Active Work with Youth», the badge «Honored Worker of Secondary Vocational Education of the Russian Federation», the honorary title «Honored Worker of Education of the Udmurt Republic», and gratitude from the head of the Udmurt Republic «For many years of conscientious work and contribution to vocational education and patriotic upbringing of children and youth».
Her future career path is not yet known. According to information from the press service of the head and government of Udmurtia, Elena Busygina has been appointed acting Minister of Education.
Biography. Svetlana Mikhailovna Bolotnikova was born on June 22, 1967 in Sarapul. In 1989, she graduated from Udmurt State University with a degree in Mathematics. From 1989 to 1995, she worked as a mathematics teacher at Sarapul Secondary School No. 7. Then she got a job as a teacher at Sarapul Pedagogical College. Until 2017, she continued to work at this educational institution, gradually climbing the career ladder from the position of teacher to director of the institution. In October 2017, Svetlana Bolotnikova was appointed acting Minister of Education of the Udmurt Republic. From December 15, according to the decree of the head of the region, she became the Minister of Education of the Udmurt Republic.
