According to the regional head, the SMO participant has been appointed deputy minister of industry and energy. He is a participant in the regional program «Our Heroes». As part of an internship under this program, he visited several Saratov enterprises and studied their operations. Moreover, before being sent to the SMO, he worked at various production facilities.

It was previously reported that since the start of this program, 17 SMO participants have been employed in the regional government, the regional duma, and district administrations. Another number of special operation participants will begin building careers in large companies, but the exact number was not specified.

However, contrary to officials« statements, SMO participants are not always given opportunities in employment. In Marx, in early December, an SMO participant was not even allowed to participate in the competition for the election of the district head.

Another SMO participant, Ilya Gorovoi, who also submitted documents, was unexpectedly called back early from leave to the frontline. And the commission for selecting the head stated that he must be present in person for consideration of his candidacy. Officials refused to communicate with him online. Ilya Gorovoi is a current deputy of the district council.
