Governor of the Kurgan region Vadim Shumkov once again described what Kurgan was like before he became head of the region, in his opinion. According to the head of the Trans-Urals, the city has now awakened from hibernation and shaken off the «long-standing cobwebs and patina of decay that had accumulated here, like in a crypt». He wrote about this in his Telegram channel.

«Today we are working in the city. Now in Kurgan it is difficult to find even a block where something is not being built or repaired. Well, good). That means the city is alive and becoming more beautiful and comfortable year after year. After a long hibernation, the city has woken up and shaken off the long-standing cobwebs and patina of decay that had accumulated here, like in a crypt,» wrote Vadim Shumkov.

Also, the head of the region recalled that it was difficult for him to work with representatives of the «local «team of our youth»».

Earlier, Vadim Shumkov repeatedly stated that before his arrival, nothing was being built in Kurgan, which drew criticism from residents.
