Payments for Sverdlovsk Region SVO Participants Increased
By order of Governor Denis Pasler, the one-time allowance for participants of the special military operation (SVO) from Sverdlovsk Region has been increased by 200 thousand rubles (about $2,000 at current rates). Now its amount is 2.7 million rubles (approximately $27,000).
In addition to the regional payment, servicemen receive 400 thousand rubles (about $4,000) from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation (MoD RF). When concluding a contract, the total amount of one-time payments reaches 3.1 million rubles (around $31,000).
Families of servicemen continue to receive financial support: a one-time payment of 20 thousand rubles (about $200) is provided per family, as well as 20 thousand rubles (about $200) for each child.
For relatives of SVO participants, other support measures are also in effect:
- subsidized gasification of residential houses;
- deferral of rental payments;
- termination of lease agreements without penalties;
- free recreation for children in health camps on the Black Sea coast;
- free meals in schools and colleges.
