The inauguration of the new mayor of Yakutsk, Dmitry Sadovnikov, will take place on July 21 at 17:00 at the Gagarin House of Culture. This was reported to a 14.RU correspondent by the city administration.
The elections were held on July 20. Two candidates were nominated: Dmitry Sadovnikov and Vladislav Sozonov. 23 out of 25 city council deputies voted for Sadovnikov. For details on how the elections went, read the online broadcast on 14.RU.
The newly elected mayor said during a press briefing after the elections that he will assemble an experienced team of people familiar to the residents. Sadovnikov also said he is ready to accept possible criticism and meet all challenges.
