Oleg Shmelev served as head of Koverininsky District for nearly 12 years before resigning voluntarily.

Oleg Shmelev, who held the position of head of Koverininsky District, has prematurely terminated his duties. He made the decision to resign independently and informed his followers on his personal social media page.
Shmelev worked in this position for almost 12 years. According to him, significant improvements have been achieved in the areas of urban development, housing and communal services, social policy, and culture over these years.
I am confident that the contours of economic development we have laid down have become a solid foundation for the future growth of Koverininsky District.
