Head of Koverininsky District Resigns Early

Oleg Shmelev left his post
Oleg Shmelev, head of Koverininsky District, has stepped down early. He made this decision of his own accord, announcing it on his personal social media page.
Shmelev worked in Koverininsky District for almost 12 years. He noted that much has been accomplished in the areas of urban improvement and utilities, social policy, and culture over these years.
«I am confident that the economic development framework we have laid down has become a solid foundation for the future growth of Koverininsky District. I thank for the joint work the government of Nizhny Novgorod Region, the deputies of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Legislative Assembly, the administration team, the deputies of the Council of Deputies, our enterprises, institutions, and all caring residents! I wish all of you, your families, and our Koverininsky District — further prosperity and success in all endeavors!» wrote Shmelev.
Prior to this, the head of the City District, Alexander Mudrov, published a post on his social media. He commented on the inclusion of the district center in the Golden Ring. What the official thinks about this — in our article.
