Ex-SVO Fund Head Appointed Deputy Minister in Khabarovsk

Former head of the Zabaikalsky branch of the Defenders of the Fatherland fund, Tatiana Lonshakova, has become deputy minister of education and science of Khabarovsk Krai. This was reported in his Telegram channel by State Duma deputy Andrei Gurulev.

Tatiana Lonshakova herself did not comment to Chita.Ru on her new appointment.

The branch of the Defenders of the Fatherland fund in Zabaikalsky Krai opened in Chita on May 30, 2023. It was immediately headed by former director of the Chernovsky center for children left without parental care, «Vostochny,» Tatiana Lonshakova. On November 28, Tatiana Lonshakova left her position after 2.5 years of work, having written a resignation letter of her own volition. She did not explain the reasons for leaving. On December 1, she reported that she did not yet know what she would do next, but noted that she did not intend to stop helping participants of the special military operation.

After Lonshakova«s departure, the Defenders of the Fatherland fund was headed by deputy minister of social and demographic policy of Zabaikalsky Krai, Nikolai Belomestnov, who was introduced to the staff on December 2. Nikolai Belomestnov previously held the position of head of the internal policy department in the regional government, then volunteered for the special military operation. He served in the Primorsky volunteer detachment »Tiger,« was a UAV operator. By order of the governor of Primorsky Krai, Oleg Kozhemyako, Belomestnov was awarded the medal »Participant of the Special Military Operation.«
