Deputy Head of Arkhangelsk Resigns, Successor Named

Deputy Head of Arkhangelsk for municipal services Mikhail Ivanov resigned from his post. His duties will now be carried out by Nikolai Khudyakov. Here is what is known about this official.

Nikolai Khudyakov was born in the Arkhangelsk Oblast in 1986. He earned two higher education degrees in state and municipal administration and management. In 2023–2024, he served as deputy and then first deputy head of the Plesetsk Municipal District.

In July 2024, Khudyakov was appointed director of the Arkhangelsk Department of Municipal Services. At the time, he was described as a competent manager.

«Nikolai Viktorovich Khudyakov has already worked in a department subordinate to the Arkhangelsk administration, and he gained managerial experience at the municipal level in the administration of the Plesetsk District. During his time in the Arkhangelsk administration as head of the Economic Service Department, he proved himself a responsible, determined, and thoughtful leader,» the Arkhangelsk administration reported.

Recall that until July 2023, the position of Deputy Head of Arkhangelsk for municipal services was held by Vladislav Shevtsov. He was sentenced to prison for large bribes.
