Personnel changes have occurred in the Primorsky regional branch of the United Russia party. The new head of the deputy association has become the chairman of the regional parliament, Anton Voloshko. He replaced Sergei Slepchenko in this position.

As reported by the press service of the Legislative Assembly of Primorsky Krai, the corresponding decision was made on January 28 at a meeting of the United Russia faction, which was attended by Primorye Governor Oleg Kozhemyako. As a result, Sergei Slepchenko left the position of head of Primorye«s United Russia, and Anton Voloshko became the head of the party»s regional branch.

Anton Anatolyevich Voloshko is a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Primorsky Krai from the 21st electoral district, a member of the United Russia faction. He was born on July 11, 1980 in Vladivostok. He received higher education at the Far Eastern State University, graduating in 2002 with a degree in journalism.

He began his professional career in regional media: in 1999–2000, he worked as a reporter and correspondent for «Public Television of Primorye».

In the early 2000s, he moved to the federal level, where from 2001 to 2005 he worked as a correspondent and special correspondent for the Far Eastern bureau of «Channel One», covering events in Primorsky Krai, Kamchatka, Sakhalin, and Southeast Asian countries, and also hosted episodes of «Morning News» and programs in the night and morning broadcasts in Moscow.

From 2005 to 2012, Anton Voloshko worked at the NTV channel as the host of the programs «Emergency Incident» and «Emergency Incident. Weekly Review». In 2012–2015, he held managerial positions in media structures in Moscow, working as general producer and head of special projects.

In 2015, he transitioned to civil service, starting work in the apparatus of the governor and government of Sakhalin Oblast. In various years, he held positions as a leading analyst, deputy head of the apparatus, and in 2017–2018 — first deputy governor of Sakhalin Oblast and head of the regional government apparatus.

From 2019, Anton Voloshko worked as vice-governor of Primorsky Krai — deputy chairman of the regional government. In October 2023, he was elected a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Primorsky Krai, and on November 29, 2023 — chairman of the regional parliament.

The personnel changes in the faction occurred against the backdrop of a restructuring of the work of the committees of the Legislative Assembly of Primorsky Krai. At the meeting on January 28, deputies supported the decision to appoint Vsevolod Romanov, who previously headed the rules committee, as chairman of the social policy committee. He replaced Igor Cheremis in this position, who went to serve in the zone of the special military operation.

The contract of the Primorye deputy with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation is designed for six months. In connection with his long absence, deputies of the United Russia faction Oksana Rybalko, Alexander Zakharov and Tatyana Kasyanenko came forward with an initiative to release Igor Cheremis from the position of chairman of the relevant committee, emphasizing the need for constant leadership of its work.

It became known in January that Igor Cheremis is leaving for the special military operation. The corresponding document was published by his wife Roza Cheremis, who works in the State Duma. You can learn more about this in our special story via the link.
