Analysts from the Avito Jobs service recorded an increase in income for specialists working shifts in the Rostov region in 2025. The study highlighted professions with the highest salary offers.
The calculation of average values was based on salary ranges indicated in job descriptions. The actual income may vary depending on the length of the shift cycle.
First place in the ranking was taken by press operators, who process, form, and join materials under pressure using special equipment. Their average monthly salary reached 308,120 rubles (approximately $3,100 at current rates).
The work of a press operator requires high qualification, attentiveness, and strict adherence to technological processes and safety rules. Over the year, the average pay level for these positions increased by 47%, according to the study.
Second place went to smelters, who are involved in metal melting. Their average earnings amounted to 251,212 rubles per month (approximately $2,500 at current rates), which is 40% higher than the 2024 figure.
Third place belongs to defectoscopists, who control the quality of materials and welded products. In 2025, they received on average 235,000 rubles monthly (approximately $2,400 at current rates), which is also 47% more than the previous year.
