Experts from the hh.ru online recruitment platform have revealed which industries in Yaroslavl Region are seeking workers over 50. According to the specialists, in 2025, employers in the region sent over 120,000 invitations to applicants aged 51-60.

«As people age, they more often seek stable, predictable, and less physically demanding types of work. At the same time, many do not limit themselves to familiar professions—they master digital tools, undergo retraining, and successfully adapt to new market demands. Employers, in turn, increasingly note the reliability, responsibility, and loyalty of older applicants,» explained hh.ru.

By the way, according to a hh.ru survey conducted in September 2025, about 60% of Russian employers provide additional days off for retirees, have a corporate pension program, or offer additional medical check-ups. Some companies offer an extended voluntary health insurance (VHI) package or social benefits for older employees.

In which sectors in Yaroslavl Region are workers over 50 eagerly hired:

  • working personnel;
  • transport, logistics, shipping;
  • sales, customer service;
  • domestic, service personnel;
  • manufacturing and maintenance.
